For over
seven decades, Atlanta has trusted Elliott's to provide fine quality
portraiture. This tradition began in 1927 on Peachtree Street with
Chester and Maude Elliott who quickly earned a reputation for quality
that is still remembered today. The legacy continued with their
nephew, Dale Roberts, who served the community for 26 years. In
1984 Michael and Marsha Riggs joined the family so to speak and
have continued to uphold the Elliott's name and reputation. Mike,
a graduate of Georgia Tech, has earned the standing of Certified
Professional Photographer from the Professional Photographers of
America and is a past President of the Georgia Professional Photographers
Association.
Directions
Elliott's is conveniently located just north of Chastain Park and
inside I-285. From Piedmont and Roswell Road... take Roswell Road
North to Powers Ferry Road and turn left on to Powers Ferry. From
there travel Powers Ferry to the fifth stop sign (you will cross
Mt. Paran) and turn right on Crest Valley. At the first stop sign
the road changes names to Mt. Vernon Pkwy and turns left... just
continue on to the third stop sign (Idlewood) and turn right. At
the first stop sign turn right and we are the first house on the
left 5495. From I-285 and Riverside Drive... take Riverside inside
the perimeter until it dead ends into Mt. Vernon Hwy. Turn left
onto Mt. Vernon and take the second right (Whitner). Go to the first
stop sign and turn left onto East Idlewood Lane. We are the first
house on the left 5495.
Take the driveway down the back of the house (not the semicircle
out front). The studio is on the lower level. You will pass the
door on your left beside the fountain as you go down the driveway.
